VentureMeets to Host Major Networking Event for Central Mass. Entrepreneurs on April 23rd
Official Meetup Event of Worcester’s First Annual Innovation Month Connects Entrepreneurs with Resources Needed to Succeed
Worcester, MA – April 14, 2015 – VentureMeets, Central Massachusetts’ fastest growing Meetup for area entrepreneurs, today announced it is holding its largest networking event to date, open to all, on April 23rd from 6-9 p.m. at The Compass Tavern, 90 Harding Street, Worcester, Mass. The free event, the official Meetup event of Worcester’s first annual Innovation Month, connects area business leaders, investors, college students, innovators and entrepreneurs in order to advance business creation and development.
Bringing together Worcester’s business community through the joint efforts of entrepreneur-focused organizations, including The Venture Forum, Worcester Local Firstand Action! Worcester, the VentureMeets event promises to be an exciting forum for discussion, networking and learning. The evening’s featured speaker will be Sam Shepler, CEO of Skyscope, a video production company he founded in Worcester in 2012. Mr. Shepler, a Clark University graduate, will share his experiences starting and growing a successful business, while offering insights into how companies are using video to tell their stories, connect with customers, and bring innovation to the masses.
